‘South-Coast SA: Conditions are clean on the South Coast this morning with very light WNW winds, but swell has dropped further overnight and shifted WSW. Surf is around 1' at Middleton with rare 1 - 2' sets slong the Cliffs - Goolwa stretch. Wains and Parson's will be slightly bigger, and probably the only options for a shortboard wave today.’

9am Thursday. Appologies for yesterday - I'm not sure what happened but the report section disappeared. Dropping tide but som OK sets coming through in Rest Bay - around 3ft but a little breezt. Coney Beach isn't quite big enough. A decent swell starting to appear on the sandbar so the surf should be surfable for most of the day - except around low tide when it's likely to be 1-2ft. Should be ok on the push and Coney Beach should be around 2ft+

Surf World Surf Shop:
‘Good morning folks, well the to say the swell is big in Bundoran this morning is an understatement, The Peak and all town reefs are completely closed out, and breaking way out to sea, all the big wave spots and outer reefs are very big, can't guess at a size but 20ft plus is conservative. Wind is light cross-shore so conditions are perfect, the wind is due to pick up a little later. Not really much options for regular surfing today but if you are into paddling or towing huge reefs its a world class day. Well I'm off to Mullaghmore,,,, I'll bring you a shot from there when I check it out.’

Constantine Surf:
‘Constantine Bay report: A combination of fairly fresh onshore winds and a big dropping tide are not doing any favours for the surf down in the bay this morning! Those waves are keeping fairly well lined up but they are being pushed and pulled all over the place.’
-
Constantine Surf:
‘Harlyn report: That dropping tide is having an effect, it's causing that 'rippy' effect that it sometimes does but the wind is already okay. I had expected it to be late morning at least before the wind sorted itself out. So, a three footish swell is managing to swing in here as the tide is about half way out on the drop.’
-
Escape Surf boards:
‘Polzeath Surf Report 7.00: The strong wind we had for the last 24 hours has dropped off but left us with a lumpy, bumpy swell of about shoulder high with some big sets that come through every 3 minutes. The wind is still prevalent but will ease off during the day.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Winds are light from the ENE and conditions are clean and glassy early, but as you'd expect, dead flat. The tide is now heading out, but that won't make any difference - and the beachies will be pretty much flat through low tide at lunch. Winds may come up from the NE during the morning then back off again after lunch.’

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has stated that a magnitude 8.2 Earthquake beneath the Sea of Okhosk did not generate a destructive Tsunami. However, we suggest that local interests also listen for statements from the Japan Meteorological Agency, located much closer to the source.
