8am Saturday. Low tide and 3ft, clean waves in Rest Bay. Coney Beach is 1ft+. We should get 3-4ft on the push later this morning and the wind should stay light enough not to muck it up. All in all a good day.

‘Constantine Bay report: It's a bright and pleasant one this morning, the sun heaving itself over that wide horizon, a light south sou' westerly wind gusting now and again but generally blowing calmly and mainly four feet of sloppy but almost lined up surf.’

‘Harlyn report: Hmmm, it's a wee bit deceptive looking here this morning. That wind is being kind making for super smart looking waves but they look so small. Until someone takes off. And then it looks fun! The sets are into the three foot range, maybe a bit bigger on the biggest ones and are zipping off from the Rock.’

Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1.5 metres(5') 15 knots ESE. Winds are up early with around 15-20kts ESE onshore winds. Messy conditions alone all open beaches with around 1.5 ESE swell. Low at 11am so best bets are Noosa but crowded conditions with the Surfing festival on at First Point. Isolated showers’

‘Coolum surf: 10-20 knots ESE. Swell days continue with wave size forecasted to continue and increase early next week. Plenty of waves on the open beaches early with the lighter winds and offshore breeze. Stacks of solid shoree with some tide, Wutulla, Kawana, and Mudjimba. Small waves on the coast points with carties the pick.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: It's glassy on the Mid Coast early with very light East winds, but the little swell has dropped overnight. Surf on the reefs is around a foot or so for longboards / SUPS, with the tide peaking around 7:30am. The dropping tide won't help the fading swel, but the beachies will have small waves through low tide at lunch.’

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Very light onshores are not effecting conditions much yet, and it's glassy along the South Coast with a bit of a leftover lump in the swell. Surf along the Middleton - Day St. stretch is around 2', with peaky 2 - 3' waves in down the Goolwa end.’

‘Whitesands Bay: 2 ft fairly clean sets today with moderate cross shore winds. Quite setty this morning but there is the occasional 2 ft wave to be had. Closing out a bit at low tide, but should improve as the tide comes in. So generally 2 ft for most of the day although it will get a bit messy as the wind veers onshore later this afternoon. 1-2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Sunday.’

7.50am Friday. Wind has picked up and made it a little crumbly. Coney Beach is 1ft and Rest Bay is 2ft. It looks like it will pick up towards high tide and maybe even stay around 3ft on the drop but Rest Bay will be messy because of the wind and it won't be quite big enough for Coney Beach.
