The waves will continue through to low tide when it will drop off for slack water around lunch time. It will probably pick up again this afternoon with clean 2-3 ft sets. Good waves today although there is a bit of a wait between sets. 3 ft clean tomorrow, 3-4 ft clean Saturday.’

The forecast for the weekend is for 2-3 foot surf tomorrow, Sunday will be 3-4 foot wind is perfect offshore all weekend. Monday and Tuesday will be 4-5 foot with offshore wind.’

    It's looking much cleaner this morning with 3-4ft of ESE on the open beaches, 2-3ft in the protected corners. The winds are fresh S early and are forecast to go SW/SE depending on the location of the upper level trough. The points and S stretches and corners are the pick with some smaller clean ones on the 8 am high tide. Water quality is very poor from the heavy rain

We should get a decent swell, but I can't work out what the wind may end up doing - its sort of swirling around for this afternoon. We should get a wave somewhere though - be it Rest Bay or small Coney.
