‘Whitesands Bay: 2 ft fairly clean sets today with moderate cross shore winds. Quite setty this morning but there is the occasional 2 ft wave to be had. Closing out a bit at low tide, but should improve as the tide comes in. So generally 2 ft for most of the day although it will get a bit messy as the wind veers onshore later this afternoon. 1-2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Sunday.’

7.50am Friday. Wind has picked up and made it a little crumbly. Coney Beach is 1ft and Rest Bay is 2ft. It looks like it will pick up towards high tide and maybe even stay around 3ft on the drop but Rest Bay will be messy because of the wind and it won't be quite big enough for Coney Beach.

‘Harlyn report: It's pretty as a picture here this morning but real small. One foot ankle slappers are zipping across the bay, sharp as razors, as loud as gunshots but small. Real small. Not unrideable but.... Although, it could just be worth keeping an eye on here today, it could build and build quite quickly too.’

7.30.am Thursday. Small but clean. Coney Beach is about 1ft, Rest Bay is 2ft with bigger sets pushing in. With a light offshore wind its real clean. Rest Bay could have some surfable 2-3ft sets towards high tide and may even give us a surfable wave on the drop. 12 sec period on the wavebouys so likely to be a bit of a wait between the bigger sets.
