   ‘Whitesands Bay: 5-6 ft fairly clean waves today with strong cross shore winds. Plenty of waves this morning but the strong winds make catching the outside waves tricky while the tide is out. There will be good size waves all day. Possibly more surfable when the tide comes in when it will be more sheltered.    7.30am Friday. Biggish and windy and wet. Dropping tide and Coney Beach is about 2ft+, Rest Bay is around 3ft+. Coney Beach is a mess but Rest Bay is just about surfable - that won't last long as the wind is forecast to go onshore this afternoon.
