Aloha Surf School:
‘Fanore surf report: Well It's International Surfing Day today and ironically it's flat! Well it has been flat here in Clare for a while now so we've been out on the Sea Kayaks quite a lot. The weather will remain quiet until Friday when a low pressure will approach and give us some windy conditions which will give us some wind swell for the weekend. After that the weather will quieten down again early next week. Early forecasts suggest that perhaps we might see some gorundswell from a low later next week but it is still a little early to tell. Check back later in the week for an update.’

‘Constantine Bay report: It's a pleasant morning to kick off International Surfing Day, with a lazy one to maybe two feet of surf drifting into the bay. The sky is gradually brightening, that cloud and haze slowly burning away, while the breeze is offshore and so light that you have to look for it.’

Coolum:
‘.3 metres(1') 5-10 knots SSW. All beaches again looking picture perfect with light offshore winds, blue skies though no real waves. Perfect days to learn to surf or grab a board for some practice. Great days to go for a walk, swim, bike ride or even climb Mt Coolum. A/bay and Sunshine will offer the best chance of a short board wave.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: North winds are gusting over 25knots early and conditions are bumpy on the Mid Coast this morning. Surf is choppy at around 1' on the reefs, but strong Northerlies all day may add a foot of windswell after lunch. High tide's a biggie at around 4:30pm, and it'll probably kill any waves mid arvo.’

‘South-Coast SA: It's offshore and clean again this morning but with N-NW winds over 20 knots it'll soon be clown out. Surf is around 2 - 3' at Middleton with 3' waves down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Chiton / Gap are around 2', Waits and Parson's will be bigger. The forecast predicts offshore NW winds up to 30 knots ahead of a late Westerly change.’

Great conditions once again, wind is offshore around 5 knots from the W. Grab a board with volume and look for the wave magnets at best you may find the odd 1.5 footer. Enjoy all!

The sea is flat with a light force 1 southwesterly cross/onshore breeze. Look out for a pod of 5-6 killer whales spotted cavorting in Rossnowlagh bay this morning before heading west, to Bundoran or Mullaghmore, maybe.
