Constantine Surf:
‘Harlyn report: That wind is slipping straight in on the beach here today too, making for onshore and ugly conditions. Things should improve with the tide, a happier combination of that wind dropping gradually along with the tide, allowing for cleaner conditions on this evening's tide.’

‘Constantine Bay report: It's a wet 'n breezy one this morning more like mid Autumn than mid Summer! If you have the opportunity to roll over, pull the duvet up and snuggle, then enjoy! But it should all brighten up as we stumble through the day. That front seems to have arrived a little early and so is moving on a little early too.’

‘Porthcawl: Wind is just as strong as yesterday. Coney Beach is 2-3ft on sets and will be sheltered this morning. Rest Bay is around 3-4ft on sets and messy. Coney Beach this afternoon is best avoided due to the rip but Rest Bay will have a messy wave all day.’

Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: .4 metres(1') 5-20 knots SE. Get out on the open beaches early or head for one of the southern corners of the coast. Swell is still tiny, good for some practice or learning to surf. Sunshine and A/bay best chance of a short board wave. Noosa and Mooloolaba will be the cleanest and be protected from the winds.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Light NW winds are adding a bit of a lump this morning but conditions are semi-clean early. Surf is around 1' and fat with the tide just about to peak, then heading out until 12:30pm. NW-W winds are forecast to pick up to around 15 knots again so it'll get bumpy, and probably not a lot bigger on the incoming tide after lunch.’

‘Harlyn report: Ah, that looks like fun! Especially as the Sun burns off those clouds. There's a decent couple of feet of surf standing up off the rock, those waves pretty close together but not uncomfortably so. Two guys are out already and grabbing a few, although the set waves are looking the best even if there is a little wait for them.’

PorthcawlSurf (School & Hire)
6.30am Saturday. Smaller today but still windy. Coney Beach is 2ft and Rest Bay is 2-3ft but messy. With high tide at 9.30, Rest Bay will be too high early this morning, Coney Beach should clean up a little towards high tide and give us 2-3ft but will drop off later this morning. Rest Bay will have a wave most of the day but likely to be messy. Check late this evening as winds look like they will drop off.
