‘Whitesands Bay: 1-2 ft fairly messy waves today with moderate onshore winds. A few messy 1-2 ft waves this morning leading up to low tide. Will drop off around low slack water mid morning. Then some knee high messy waves as the tide comes in this afternoon. Change of conditions this evening with strong cross shore winds and northerly swell producing small clean waves on the north end of the beach and messier bigger waves to the south. 2-3 ft Tomorrow, and 1 ft thursday.’

8.30am Tuesday. A little bigger than yesterday but tide is still dropping. Coney Beach is flat and Rest Bay is 1ft. Howevere, winds will go onshore and increase as the tide turns and starts to push in. We should get a messy 2ft this afternoon with the odd 3ft set coming through. Likely to be too small for Coney Beach though.

‘Constantine Bay report: It's a bit of a gloomy one this morning! The wind is freshening from the north west, the sky is leaden grey and filled with drizzly, stinging rain and the surf is pretty small and weak looking. The one to two feet of surf is still managing to stay lined up but is crumbling and bouncing as it sloshes its way to the beach.’

‘Barwon Heads: Wind can be a pesky thing for a surfer most non surfing peanuts always think that when its howling, the waves must be good .i don’t know where they got that idea..maybe from “Pt Break” or “In gods hands”(now that was a shocker)though I digress but that’s what they always run with jeez there must be good waves with that wind blowin’

Wave Bandit: Hands On OH&S Oil & Gas Safety Services (tel: 0458 544 287)
Waves once again crew! The swell is clean and straight from the E at around 2-3ft. on the more open beaches. The tide is high early and the winds are light WSW, they're forecast to go around to the SE later. The open beaches have clean ones early where ever you can find a bank handling the straight swell. Later try the S corners, E facing points and smaller ones in the outer bays at Noosa when the tide drops and the wind goes to the SE. The swell should increase a bit later in the day. Be safe all!

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Winds are just a puff from the NE and conditions are clean this morning, with a few waves on the Mid Coast. It;s not as good as Sunday but there are some 1 - 2' sets on the reefs with a bit of a wais in between. The dropping tide isn't helping, but hopefully we'll see the swell kick a bit mid morning as the tide starts back in.’

‘Whitesands Bay: 1 ft clean waves today with light cross shore winds. Very crisp clean 1 ft waves this morning around low. Should be a few 1 ft sets as the tide comes in and then a few small surfable knee high waves this afternoon. The wind may turn light onshore later but the waves should remain fairly clean. So clean knee high waves on sets for most of the day. 1 ft Tomorrow, 2ft Wednesday.’

‘Harlyn report: It has that 'smokey sea' thing going on here this morning, which is quite strange as it is already foggy in the valley and misty up at the top. Mist within fog within mist! Shame about the surf though, yep, you guessed it! It is small. really small. Maybe a foot on the biggest sets? No, it's the other side again today!’
