Coolum:
‘1.0 metres(3') 10-15 knots ESE. Onshore winds into it early. Protected southern corners of the coast are the pick for calm conditions though only tiny waves. Coolum cove and bays will offer some short solid rides. A/bay is the pick for extra size and some wind protection. Need a board or a lesson contact Coolum Surfing School :)’

Wave Bandit: Hands On OH&S Oil & Gas Safety Services (tel: 0458 544 287)
Well ya had to be an early bird today because at first light it was SSW and ok but by 6.30 it is S-SE and has become sloppier and yukker ( is that even a word ? ), so its 1-1/2 ft messy beachies only as the tide runs out but its very ordinary, hardly worth getting outta bed for...so hope ya got amongst the good ones yesterday morning... if you were hoping for some MORE of the same, well you'd be as dissapointed as I am...its grovel only so keep expectations very low

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Once again overnight SE winds have left the swell lumpy despite light East winds and glassy conditions this morning. Surf is glassy at around 3' along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch, 2' at Chiton, with Waits & Parson's around 3 - 4'. Winds are forecast to shift more onshore SE after lunch, which will make it sloppier for the arvo.’
