Wave Bandit: Hands On OH&S Oil & Gas Safety Services (tel: 0458 544 287)
Pretty average this morning with grey skies, the odd shower, SSE winds up early and 2ft of messy SE swell. The winds are forecast to go ESE later. There are some small messy ones on the E facing points and in the S corners on the dropping tide. Outer bays at Noosa also will have some small ones as the tide drops. It's nothing to get excited about.

‘Harlyn report: It's so small around here. Glassy and snappy but small. It may build a little on the incoming tide but the other side is still going to be the place to go today. Anywhere on the other side of the headland is going to be better than here, as long as the wind stays light!’

Surf World Surf Shop:
‘Bundoran report: , Tullan Strand is the place to surf today with 2-3 foot clean waves, The Peak and and reefs are smaller 2 foot, wind is light offshore. The surf forecast for the weekend is for 2-3 foot waves at Tullan Strand with light offshore wind for Saturday and Sunday. The reefs will be smaller 1-2 foot so Tullan Strand is the best option for a surfable wave in the area over the weekend.’

‘Constantine Bay report: A beautiful dawn is spreading itself across the fields to embrace the bays this morning. The wind is light, no more than a very light breeze and is drifting from the South, almost South East, almost offshore. So the one to two to occasionally three feet of glassy surf is looking very attractive.’
