Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: It's glassy on the Mid Coast early with light East winds, and a little bit of new swell trying to push in on the reefs. It's still only about 1' but it's balling a dropping tide until 10am. Hopefully we'll see a bit of a kick around midday as the tide moves back in, and the wind will stay SE rather than Southerly.’

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Conditions are lumpy / glassy on the South Coast with light East winds early. Surf is around 3' at Middleton and a bit bigger down toward Cliffs and Goolwa, with Chiton / Gap around 2'. Waits and Parson's will be bigger, Parson's is probably the better option with the East wind.’

It's another perfect winters day, but the swell is still very small from the SE at only up to the 1-2ft on the open beaches and 0-1ft in the S corners. The winds are light W and are forecast to go SSW, then SSE later day. it's high tide at around 8 am. There are some small waves along the open beaches before the SSE winds get up. Take a board with lots of flotation.

‘Whitesands Bay: 1-2 ft clean waves today with moderate offshore winds this morning. Fairly clean small waves this morning with 1-2 ft sets. Will probably get a bit better as the tide drops with the occasional 2 ft set before low. Small at low tide around lunch time before picking up a little, but not a lot, this afternoon. The wind however will swing onshore later so the waves will mess up a bit. 1-2 ft this evening. 1-2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Thursday.’

‘Harlyn report: It's really very pleasant in the drizzle around here again this morning. The sea has that clear Tourquoise hue to it that you get on these rainy days, all glassy and inviting in a strange kind of way. The waves are small but there are some, one to two feet peelers, wedging off The Rock and flashing across the sand.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Winds are light from the NE and conditions are peaky / glassy on the Mid Coast, with small swell pushing in. Surf is only around 1' on the reefs and the tide is heading out until around 0950. There's a chance of a small lift on the incoming tide late morning, but more than likely 10-15knot NW winds will add bumps.’
