‘Coolum surf: 1.0 metres(3') 5-15 knots ESE. Great days continue with light winds, warm water and open skies. Swell is still at the fun size along the coast with Peregian and Sunshine beaches holding more size. Maroochy, Twin waters and Marcoola areas will offer good shore breaks with arvo tide in.’

The surf is small this morning in Bundoran, Tullan strand is 1 foot wind is light offshore, This morning is the calm before the storm, the swell is due to pick up to 3 foot by the days end, Tomorrow much bigger with the swell jumping to 15 foot + by tomorrow evening, Wednesday will be in the 10 foot range, Thursday and Friday will be 6 foot and next weekend will be in the 4-5 foot range, it will be windy all week with the wind switching direction and variable onshores tomorrow and Wednesday.’

‘Mid-Coast SA: Winds are light offshore from the East and conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early, with a few small lines of swell rolling in. Surf is around 1' on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, and very little tidal movement all day. Winds look pretty good all day, remaining out of the E- SE and not getting much over 10 knots.’

The surf is a foot, clean and peeling, glassy and twinkling but small enough to make you wonder whether it's worth it. But it was a bit like that yesterday and proved better than it looked and I guess that it will be the same today.’
