    Overcast with showers again and the ESE swell is a bit messy around 2ft with the occasional bigger one on the more open beaches. The winds are onshore from the ENE early and are forecast to go SE to NE with a WSW change later in the day and the tide is high at 7.20am. Uneven beachies all along the coast early on high tide, best to wait until the WSW change later in the day

Marcoochy and Alex stretch will be the pick with southerly winds and has stacks of fast rides. Marcoola and Mt Coolum will improve with the incoming tide.’

    ‘Mid-Coast SA: Conditions are choppy on the Mid with WSW winds around 15 - 20 knots early. There's some WSW groundswell underneath the bumps with surf around 2 - 3' and the tide heading out until 10am. Swell will probably kick a bit on the incoming tide, but keep an eye on it late arvo with winds expected to shift to the NW and drop under 10 knots.’

    ‘Harlyn report: Workers' Playtime Afternoon Surf Report This is the place to be for the majority of surfers this afternoon. A two foot swell is hitting the beach throwing some three foot waves as far forward as they are high. It is busy but without that intensity of crowding that we might see on a sunny weekend with bigger waves.’
