‘1.2 metres(4') 5-20 knots ESE. Get out early for the lighter winds and offshore breezes. Maroochy, Alex and Kawana offering good rides on the half tides. Coolum cove and bays have short rides but a short paddle also, best on the half tide. Sunshine end of coast holding more size but wind affected. Noosa and Mooloolaba are clean as but flat as.’

Wave Bandit: Hands On OH&S Oil & Gas Safety Services (tel: 0458 544 287)
The SE swell is smaller at around 2-3ft this morning with light SW winds early. The winds are forecast to go around to the ESE later. The E facing points and S stretches have some fun ones and are the pick early on the dropping tide. Noosa will have some small ones in the outer bays when the wind goes ESE. Another great day enjoy!

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Northerly winds around 15 knots are adding a few bumps this morning but apart from that, there's not much in terms of surf. There would be about half a foot of peaky swell, which will probably get replaced by a foot of wind swell mid morning.’

Surf South Oz:
‘South-Coast SA: Swell has dropped further overnight but conditions look good early with light offshore NNE winds . Surf is still around 2 - 3' along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch and 1 - 2' around at Chiton / Gap, with a bit more size around at Waits and Parson's.’

Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1.4 metres(5') 15-30 knots SE. Get out early or head for the southern corners as the winds increase. Alex and Carties will have good ride, but a bit wind affected. The havens of Noosa are the pick for the clean condition though waves are tiny, perfect for a malibu.’
