7.15am Thursday. 2-3ft in Coney Beach but looks a little messy. 3-4ft in Rest Bay but too high. As it comes off the rocks, we should get a good 2-3ft and not too messy as the wind is straight onshore. This should last for a few hours and then its likely to be messy as the wind is forecast to increase. This afternoon should be 3ftish at Rest Bay but your best bet is Coney Beach this evening.

Constantine Surf:
‘Harlyn report: It's okay around here this morning! Two to three feet surf is rolling in, a bit bouncy and fat but that is more to do with the tide than anything else. As the tide drops out it should all sharpen up. But you know what it's like around here, the lower the tide the smaller it is and the more it closes out.’

Escape Surf boards:
‘Polzeath Surf Report 7.10: Well not much to fuss about right now as we have sunshine a nice swell with waves of about shoulder high and almost no wind. The tide is dropping to be low at 12.30 and will push to high at 6.30. There may well be a band of rain showers that come and go throughout the day but the waves will compensate for that.’

‘Constantine Bay report: Quite a pleasant morning is spreading its breezy warmth over us this morning. It is still breezy, a fresh wind blowing in from the south west, and there are a few cloud banks being blown not too far away, so those waves are still mixed up, still dark and brooding.’

Surf South Oz:
‘Mid-Coast SA: Light North winds are adding a bit of a wobble this morning, and surf is still on the small size at around half a foot on the reefs. Some new swell is not far off, but N-NW winds will make it bumpy most of the day. We might see a few bigger sets on the incoming tide after lunch, but it probably won't be more than a Mally wave.’

‘South-Coast SA: Conditions are clean on the South Coast with very light North winds, but swell is a bit small and WSW this morning. Surf is around 1' along the Middleton - Goolwa stretch, with Waits and Parson's around 1 - 2' about the only option for shortboarders. It'll stay offshore all day and winds probably wont get much over 15 knots.’

‘Whitesands Bay: 4-5 ft waves today with moderate cross/onshore winds. Fairly clean shoulder high waves this morning with strong cross/off winds. Difficult to surf first thing with constantly moving peaks and strong winds. It will veer more onshore by midday leaving head high messy waves through to low tide. Good size waves will push through all day, but the winds will be strong onshore this afternoon which will mess things up. 3-4 ft tomorrow and Friday. Plenty of surf for the rest of the week.’
