Winds are light at the moment but forecast to pick up, which could mess up Rest Bay later on. We should get 1-2ft on the push later this afternoon but watch the high tides, it will be up on the rocks by about 4pm. Coney Beach should be about 2ft later this afternoon.

‘Whitesands Bay: 2-3 ft fairly clean waves today with very light onshore winds . Good waves first thing leading up to low tide with solid waist high sets and nobody in. Will drop off a bit when low tide comes around 10am and then expect some more waist high sets later on today in the afternoon. Should be waves then for the rest of the day. So waves most of the day. 2 ft tomorrow, 2 ft Saturday. Good clean 2 ft waves tomorrow, 1-2 ft Sunday and 2 ft Monday.’
