The ESE swell has more to be in 3-5ft range with the odd bigger sets on the more open beaches. The winds are SSW early and are forecast to go SSE later. The points and S corners are the only areas handling the swell. Noosa is smaller. Although it has moderated it is still for the experienced only as there is a lot of water moving around

‘Coolum surf: 20-30 knots SSE. Still a strong ESE swell coming through has dropped slightly from yesterday. Winds are SSW early and forecasted to blow a strong SSE later. Only experienced surfers all open beaches not handling swell. Noosa is the pick by really crowded. Experienced only as there is a lot of water moving around.’
