Good days to grab a board or learn the basic. Kawana, Twin waters and Maroochy will be good with some tide. Mt Coolum Stretch has stacks of empty line ups.’

    The ESE swell has dropped more to be in 2-3ft range with the odd bigger one. The winds are very light WNW early and are forecast to go SW all day. Try all along the E facing beaches early on high tide where ever you can find a bank after this weeks swell. Small ones on the points later as the tide drops later this morning

Low tide everywhere will be pretty horrendous - Best bet for any kind of surf will be Coney Beach later this afternoon which should give us 3-4ft and surfable towards high tide.

    ‘Mid-Coast SA: Light NNE winds are adding a slight lump along the Mid Coast this morning, but there few waves on the reefs around 2'. The tide bottoms out around 7:30am then comes in until mid arvo. Look for a pulse of swell on the incoming tide, but expect NW winds to chop it up mid morning and tend onshore Westerly later to 20 knots.’
