‘Harlyn report: Yeah, that will do! Three to four feet of very wintery looking surf is washing in at high tide, a little bumpy and lumpy in this wind which is a little more sideshore than we would choose. I'm guessing that it may weaken a little on the dropping tide but not too much and it should strengthen again on the tidal push anyway.’

Stay away from low tide Coney Beach this afternoon - rips will be horrendous. Rest Bay will be 2-3ft and messy. Constantine Surf:
‘Constantine Bay report: The wind has dropped again from last night but there is still a brisk west sou' wester blowing in this morning. So the surf is bouncing around in the bay again just ahead of high tide and it's all a bit grey and damp looking, chilly in that wind.’
- Overhead and very good shape at high water (10:30) but lost its shape as the tide dropped becoming dumpy by 1pm.

Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1.5 metres(5') 20-25 knots SE. The SE swell is still small in the 1-2ft range with the odd bigger sets on the incoming tide. Light S winds taht are forecast to go strong SE later. The tide is coming in to a high at 8.35am, dropping to a low at 2.30pm.’
