‘Harlyn report: Yeah, that will do! Three to four feet of very wintery looking surf is washing in at high tide, a little bumpy and lumpy in this wind which is a little more sideshore than we would choose. I'm guessing that it may weaken a little on the dropping tide but not too much and it should strengthen again on the tidal push anyway.’

7.45am Saturday. Wind has dropped a little but not much. Rest Bay is 3-4ft and messy. Coney Beach is sheltered from the wind and a surfable 3ft, but boy its busy. Stay away from low tide Coney Beach this afternoon - rips will be horrendous. Rest Bay will be 2-3ft and messy. Check Coney Beach later this afternoon which should give us the same as this morning - 3ft and surfable.Pictures and video @ [link]
