‘Harlyn report: This morning's north westerly is blowing straight into the bay again, making a right old mess of the already close-fetch and mixed up swell. It's pretty choppy and mixed up around here, with not much chance of any improvement any time soon. Well, not today anyway.’

Coolum:
‘Coolum surf: 1.5 metres(5') 10-15 knots WSW. Small E swell in the 1-2ft max range with light NW winds that are forecast to go WSW. The tide is low, coming to a high at 11.10am. It's going to be clean all day and there are small ones all along the open beaches on the incoming tide. Take a board with lots of volume in it as the swell is quite soft.’
