This image shows the range of swells directed at Dee Why Point through an average April, based on 2880 NWW3 model predictions since 2007 (values every 3 hours). The wave model does not forecast wind or surf right at the shore so we have chosen the best grid node based on what we know about Dee Why Point. In the case of Dee Why Point, the best grid node is 32 km away (20 miles).
