Zahara de los Atunes in Andalucia is an exposed beach break that has unreliable waves. Winter and spring are the optimum times of year to visit. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here.
