Wilderness in Atlantic is a reasonably exposed beach and reef break that has quite reliable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the east. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells A right hand reef break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Beware of urchins, rips and rocks.
