Wiggins Pass in United-States - Florida - Gulfis a river break that only works once in a while. The favoured conditions for surfing are during the hurricane season. Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast. Windswells are much more typical than groudswells and the ideal wave angle is from the east. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for rips and sharks.
