Whispering Waves in East London is an exposed point break that only works once in a while. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the southwest. Easily blown out by onshore winds Clean groundswells prevail and the optimum swell angle is from the south. It's sometimes crowded here. Beware of rocks, sharks,kelp.
