12th Street Jetty in New Jersey is a fairly exposed beach/Jetty break that has reliable surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northeast. The beach breaks favour lefts. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Likely to be crowded if working. Dangerous rips are a hazard of surfing here.
