The Bar in Sligo is a fairly exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Ideal winds are from the southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west northwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around high tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Take care of rocks in the line up.
