Steps in Okinawa is an exposed beach break that has inconsistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the east southeast. Usually gets local windswells, but groundswells do happen and the best wave direction is from the southwest. The beach break provides left and right handers. Likely to be crowded if working. The crowds in the water make a gath helmet a good idea.
