Surf Break: Sotavento

Sotavento in Fuerteventura is a fairly exposed beach break that has unreliable waves. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the west. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the south southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Surfable at all stages of the tide. Take special care here if it gets very crowded.
