Shark Pit_1 in SF Marin is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf The best wind direction is from the east southeast with some shelter here from north winds. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach breaks offer left-handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for sharks, rips and rocks.
