San Hipolito in Baja Sur is an exposed beach and reef break that has pretty consitent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds are from the north northeast. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights together with both left and right hand reef breaks offshore.. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Take care of rips, sharks and rocks.
