Rockpiles in Oahu is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Summer offers the optimum conditions for surfing. Works best in offshore winds from the north. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the south southeast. Both left and right reef breaks. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Hazards include urchins, rocks, obstacles, locals and pollution.
