Surf Break: Redondo - The Breakwater

Redondo - The Breakwater in LA County is a fairly exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west northwest. The beach breaks are all lefts. Best around low tide. Hazards include rips, man-made danger (buoys etc...) and locals.
