Red Banks Reefs in Eyre Peninsula is a very sheltered beach break Works best in offshore winds from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Clean groundswells prevail and the optimum swell angle is from the south. There is no beach break and there is also a right hand reef break. Best around mid tide. An uncrowded break, even when it is working. Hazards include rocks and sharks.
