Racine in Lake Michigan is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf Offshore winds blow from the south southwest. The short fetch makes for windswells rather than groundswells and the best wave direction is from the northeast. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Watch out for rocks.
