I have lived in Quepos, off & on over the last 7 years. Mostly 2 months at a time. I do boogie boarding. Go Jan.- May, if you do not want rain. Cabanas "Anna" in town, has rooms for about $15.00 a night...If your an experienced surfer you will like the lefts, if the SWELL is here. It holds up for 100 yards, shoulder. It's slow, about 3-5 ft. You can buy everything in town, fruits, veges, etc. the people are friendly. Great sunsets, and entire town surrounded by mountain, and vegetation. Bus to Manuel Antonio about 60 cents. RIP CURRENTS BAD. M A. Ok if you go, I hope you enjoy.

Break here is in front of town, left only, breaks off the jetty and holds up for a nice 3-4 ft left. Inside break is good for longboarders. Mostly local kids here. At low tide water is sucked into and through the surfline, from the drainage in town, and can be dirty.
