Praia da Boraceia in Sao Paulo is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the north northwest with some shelter here from east winds. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south southeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded. The water quality here is rather suspect.
