Praia Brava da Almada in Sao Paulo is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the north with some shelter here from northeast winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southeast. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Beware of isolation.
