Playa Malibu in Golfo de Panama is a reasonably exposed river break that has quite consistent surf The best wind direction is from the northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the south southwest. The river breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include rips,submerged logs etc.
