Playa Escondida in Golfo de Nicoya is a fairly exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf Offshore winds are from the east northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. A choice of left and right reefs. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. A popular wave that can get growded. Watch out for rocks and private access.
