Pico de el Puerto in Andalucia is a fairly exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds are from the west. The location means that groundswells are unknown and the optimum wave angle is from the east. There is a left breaking reef. Best around low tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days.
