Works best in offshore winds from the north with some shelter here from northwest winds. Easily blown out by an onshore breeze Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the optimum swell angle is from the west. There is no point break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
