Monument in Eyre Peninsula is an exposed point break that only works once in a while. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the east northeast with some shelter here from northwest winds. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. No point break here and there is right hand reef break too. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Take care of rocks, sharks.
