Mimitsu in Kyu Shu is an exposed river break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Most of the surf comes fis in the form of windswells and the best wave direction is from the east northeast. The river break offers both left and right hand waves. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for rocks.
