Visitor reviews of Merimbula Bar surf break

  • February 26, 2011
    Phil Osopher from Australia

Very, very inconsistent. When it is small, it is assaulted by SUP's. When it is good, it is attacked by everyone and his pet dog. On its day though, it is a long, workable, whackable, Bali-like left. On sizeable days the paddle back out is shoulder-sapping. Snag a Bar wave on a good day, and it will have you hooked. You just have to be very, very patient.
