Maraa, French Polynesia, Surf Forecast and Surf Reports

Maraa in Tahiti is an exposed reef break that usually has waves. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the east northeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. A reef breaks left. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care of rips, urchins,rocks and sharks.
