Les Grottes Bizerte in Tunis and North Coast is an exposed reef break that does not work very often. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the south with some shelter here from west winds. Easily blown out by onshore winds Windswells are much more typical than groudswells and the ideal wave angle is from the northwest. There is no reef break. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when the surf is up, crowds are unknown. Watch out for rocks.
