Lagoons on the West Coast is an exposed river break that has fairly consistent surf. The best time of year for waves is autumn. Offshore winds blow from the west northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the south. Best around high tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Watch out for rips and sharks.
