Kon Tiki Surf Forecast and Surf Reports

(Peru – Lima)

Surf-default-break-image
Name: Kon Tiki
Type: beach and reef
Reliability: fairly consistent
Best Swell: SW Offshore Wind: E

Kon Tiki in Lima is an exposed beach and reef break that has pretty consitent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the east. Clean groundswells prevail and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The reef provides both left and right breaks. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for rips and isolation.
